Tidy for Jira is published by KRT Lab. It keeps linked work together in Jira’s existing List and Board.

Information Tidy uses

Tidy reads the Jira page and permitted work-item information needed to show linked groups. This includes work-item keys, titles, types, statuses, links, parent relationships and subtasks. Jira page content can contain information entered by your team.

Tidy uses your existing Jira session to make requests directly to the configured Jira site. It does not ask you to enter a Jira password or API token, and it does not copy your credentials into its settings.

How the information is used

Jira information is processed in your browser to display related work and open items through Jira’s normal interface. If you turn on linked-status syncing, Tidy sends permitted status changes directly to the same Jira site. Status syncing starts off.

Clicking Tidy on another ordinary webpage opens a local example. Tidy checks the current tab’s address to choose the right panel. It does not collect that page’s content or keep a record of your browsing history.

Storage and sharing

Tidy saves your grouping, link-filter, display-order and status-sync choices in your browser. Work-item information is kept temporarily in memory for the current runtime and is cleared when that runtime is torn down. It is not saved to Chrome storage.

Tidy has no developer-operated server for your Jira data. It does not send Jira content to KRT Lab, sell user data, use advertising or analytics, or use the information for lending or credit decisions. Jira requests go directly to your Jira site over HTTPS and remain subject to Jira’s permissions and privacy practices.

Tidy uses information only to provide its linked-work features. Its handling of user data follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Your choices

You can turn grouping or status syncing off in Tidy’s settings. Turning grouping off restores Jira’s normal view. Removing the extension removes its saved browser settings. Turning Tidy off does not undo status changes that Jira has already accepted.

Support

For privacy questions or help, email support@krtlab.dev. Support mail is forwarded through Cloudflare Email Routing to our Gmail inbox. Include your browser version and the screen where the problem occurs. Do not send passwords, tokens, private Jira addresses, work-item content or workplace screenshots.

This policy describes the current extension. Any change to its data handling will be reflected here.
